Hi, I'm Sam
If you’re looking for a copywriter to pull those jumbled thoughts out of your head and turn them into content that’s going to bring in your ideal clients, you’re in the right place.
Creating copy that connects and converts is what I do. I’ve been doing it as a freelance copywriter for four years.
Before that, I worked in publishing for eight years, across publicity, marketing and editorial. I was the commissioning editor for the fiction list of a large independent publisher when I left. I’ve also worked in PR – those bar and restaurant openings were the best!
I set up Made Simple by Sam after my daughter was born, to use my skills and experience in a way that was flexible and worked for my family. I didn’t want to miss out.
Why me?
I’m a people person, emotional connections light me up. (Although too long with too many people and I need a little sit down on my own for a while to recharge!)
When we work together, I want to really get to know you to help you find your voice. That’s why so much of my process happens before I write a single word. I won’t drop in, knock you up some copy and bugger off never to be heard from again.
I’ll get underneath the skin of your business, push for the meaning behind what you do and question how you need to connect with your ideal customers.
