About me
You’re great at what you do. You just need the words to prove it.
North London copywriter helping small businesses and growing brands find their voice.
Maybe you’re a solo business owner who’s been putting off your website for months. Maybe you’re a growing brand whose messaging hasn’t quite kept pace with where you’re headed. Or maybe you’ve got a team too stretched to put out the content your business deserves.
Whatever the situation, if the words aren’t working, that’s when you bring me in.
I’m Sam – a copywriter with more than 15 years of experience taking tangled thoughts and turning them into sharp, consistent messaging that sounds exactly like you, at your absolute best.
What working with me actually looks like
You talk, voice note, or brain dump into a shared document. I ask the right questions, dig into what makes you brilliant and get to work. Clients tell me I “just get it” quickly and the copy pretty much always lands first time.
Collaboration is central to how I work. I won’t parachute in, write a few words and disappear – I go deep first, uncovering what you stand for and how you want to show up. Whether it’s website copy, thought-leadership, newsletters or a copy audit, everything starts with understanding your voice and audience.
The process feels easier than expected. Your new messaging saves you time and leads to clearer communication. The results – more enquiries, more confidence, more of the right clients finding their way to you – speak for themselves.
I work with solo business owners, growing SMEs, marketing consultants and brand designers across all kinds of industries, from fintech, legal and SaaS to coaching and women’s health. From website copy and email sequences to brand messaging frameworks, case studies, audits and workshops – if words are involved, I can help.
A bit more about me
Before launching Made Simple by Sam in 2019, I spent eight years in publishing across publicity, marketing and editorial, finishing as commissioning editor for a fiction list at a large independent publisher. I set up on my own after having my daughter to use my skills and experience in a way that was flexible and let me always be around for the school run (and foolishly overcommit myself to the PTA in the very first term of reception!).
