Hi, I'm Sam
I’m a north London-based copywriter with more than 15 years’ experience shaping stories and strategy.
Before launching Made Simple by Sam in 2019, I spent eight years in publishing across publicity, marketing and editorial, finishing as commissioning editor for a fiction list at a large independent publisher. I set up Made Simple by Sam after having my daughter to use my skills and experience in a way that was flexible and worked for my family.
Today, I work with solo business owners, growing SMEs and alongside marketing consultants and brand designers to create clear, consistent messaging that connects and converts.
From building brand copy frameworks to refining existing messaging, I turn scattered ideas into focused, customer-led copy that attracts the right people and moves them to act. I’ve worked across industries including fintech, legal, SaaS, coaching and women’s health, and I also run workshops and create internal messaging templates to keep teams confidently on-brand.
